    • An interesting look into what makes a city work. Lots of good trivia bits.
  • A Gentleman in Moscow by Amor Towles – A-
    • I really liked the turns of phrases he uses to paint a picture. A really nice, fun book.
  • A Head Full of Ghosts by Paul Tremblay – B
    • A young girl is displaying signs of schizophrenia but her family thinks she’s possessed.
  • Nothing to See Here by Kevin Wilson – B+
    • A woman finally figures out her life when she is tasked to take care of two children…who burst into flames.
  • Randomize by Andy Weir – B-
    • Short story about a casino scam, not the best but interesting delve into quantum-computing.
  • Ready Player Two by Ernest Cline – C-
    • A good idea ruined by annoying characters, over-detailed 80s references, and 100 unnecessary pages.
  • Recursion by Blake Crouch – B+
    • An unsettling take on time-travel and false memories. This one will stick with me for a while.
  • The Prince and the Dressmaker by Jen Wang. – A-
    • A positive message about acceptance in this well crafted graphic novel. My only complaint is that I wanted more.
  • Thrawn: Alliances by Timothy Zahn – B+
    • I know Thrawn is a bad guy but I enjoy this character so much.
  • Thrawn: Treason by Timothy Zahn – B-
    • This one had too many competing storylines but it was enjoyable nonetheless
